Kalika Multiple Campus (KMC) was established in 2048 B.S. (1990 A.D.) with the participation of the local community, including social workers, teachers, educationists, and academics. Hundreds of meetings and interactions were held with community members in anticipation of establishing an academic institution. These continuous meetings and discussions led to the materialization of a community campus in the region, resulting in the establishment of KMC.

KMC possesses its own land and building complex and is well-equipped with necessary infrastructures and materials. The library has been operational since the beginning and has now been upgraded with online, computerized, and internet-based learning and study systems.

Significant Events in the Development History of KMC:

  • Continued support and participation of the community.
  • Patrons contributing over Rs. 50,000.00 each to the campus.
  • Founder teachers and non-teaching staff worked without salary (free teaching) during the initial establishment phase.
  • Senator membership fees, initially Rs. 15,000.00, have now increased to Rs. 50,000.00.
  • Donations from social and business organizations and individuals.
  • Acquisition of land free of cost.
  • Growing attraction of students due to the campus's achievements and academic environment.

Located at the heart of Pokhara Metropolitan City, KMC has been committed to educating students from rural, remote, and economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds at a reasonable cost. It also provides scholarships, freeships, and fee waiver systems to support deserving students.
